Aerial Surveys. Not all infrastructure or terrain is safe and accessible from the ground. Using UAV (drones) and laser scanning, an aerial survey is a time and cost efficient way to collect accurate survey data of vast, inaccessible, or challenging sites. Drones are employed for affordable large topographical surveys, volume calculations, roof inspections, and bridge and building surveys. Aerial surveys are used to survey expansive landscapes, coastal geography, quarries, and roadwork.
Other unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) can be used on land or in water for surveys, such as bathymetric surveys. Contact us to discuss both aerial or bathymetric surveys.
Bathymetric Surveys. Bathymetry is effectively underwater topography. Bathymetric surveys gauge water depth and map underwater features for a body of water, such as lakes, oceans, rivers, and canals. Atlas Geomatics is pleased to facilitate bathymetric surveys. Contact us for more information.
Utility Surveys. Utility surveys allow us to look at the subterranean properties of a site. Utility surveys identify, locate, and confirm underground utility features. Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is used to find utilities such as drainage, water, gas, electricity, and telecommunications, which are then mapped out on survey plans. Atlas Geomatics can arrange utility surveys to suit your needs.

Boundary Surveys. Boundary surveying is useful to establish or re-establish property boundaries. As well, they are used when larger plots of land is split into multiple plots. Boundary surveys convert land registry documents into physical boundary features on the ground.
